1968〜74年に刊行された《Whole Earth Catalog》の裏表紙に記されていて、
故スティーブ・ジョブズ氏が2005年6月スタンフォード大学での講演で引用
した有名な言葉 "STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH" 。
いろんな解釈があるけれど「現状に甘んじるな、世の常識を疑え」がシックリ。
「（山で）空腹になれ、愚かになれ」と言う意味ではありませんのでご注意をw

イラストレーター平沼久幸さんのゆるい手書きフォントを発泡プリントで再現。

アメリカで発刊されヒッピーから絶大な支持を受けた雑誌（カタログ）。
1974年10月に刊行された『Whole Earth Epilog』号の裏表紙に
バックミンスター・フラーの次の言葉が飾られた。
"STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH"
故スティーブ・ジョブズ氏はそれを引用し下記のような意味で伝えたとされる。
自分のやりたいことを貫け、人生の時間は限られている。誰かの言いなりになって人生を浪費してはいけない。他人の教えにとらわれるな。
